"I have never had better treatment or meals. My spine operation amplified my A-fib. Two weeks of avoiding a pace-maker and two weeks of PT in the hospital. I hated it, endured it, I mostly would strongly disagree on the hospital PT satisfaction survey. Bridgeway Transitioanl Care Unit was SUCH a change, excellent food all ways always. So gentle yet the reach was always beyond my grasp and I miraculously am recovering.I am treated like a guest in a fine resort hotel. I love it. My wife’s stern warning “Do NOT Fall In Love With Martin Luther Care Center, You Are Needed At Home.” If ever again I plan surgery , my first consideration will be to come here for my recovery and re-hab (Everything is wonderful, but my bed at home of course is better ☺)"

"I am writing to express our thanks and appeciation to Martin Luther Care Center for the care of our mother....Over the past two years and until the day she died, Mom was treated with kindness, compassion and respect. The staff including the receptionists, administrators, spiritual care, recreation and occupatinal therapists, housekeeping and dietary staff, and above all, the direct care staff are outstanding. Despite limitations, Mom was assisted to remain active and involved in life. She was always dressed and groomed beautifully- just as she always was when she was able to care for herself. The staff had a personal connection with Mom and us. The support my dad received on his daily visits made a difficult situation easier. We appreciated the phone calls and care conferneces which allowed us to stay involved on Mom's care. Our concerns and wishes were always addressed promptly.

On the day Mom died, we had another opportunity to observe the nurses' and nursing assistants' care for Mom. Their gentle , competent and timely care assured us that she was in the best of places for her final day.

Since Mom's death, we have continued to benefit from the care and support of the entire team. Your kind words and hugs have made this all a little easier."
